Hi,
I am a student at SGU. I have friends at Spartan and I am really concerned. I have heard a lot of bad things about the administration and am really worried for Spartan students. It seems that Spartan is losing more and more states. I think you guys should pester your administration through phone calls, emails, whatever it takes for them to change! I personally know a lot of Spartan students and graduates and they are all hard working and intelligent. They are/will be great physicians. It’s not fair that you are being judged poorly because of your administration’s lack of care. I WISH YOU ALL WELL!

They are too busy praising their Nobel Price Laureate to pester their admins... their admins are great. They even have a Nobel Price plague posted in their main office... LOL

Listen,
There is no reason to criticize the students. It’s not their fault the administration sucks. I’m sure they care enough to do something about it.

I agree with this statement. The main problem is the administration especially the VICE PRESIDENT (the biggest violator of them all), he has NO RESPECT for his students. He thinks Spartan students are PRETENTIOUS.

Strong words coming from someone whose salary is being paid by those PRETENTIOUS students.

the best thing a student can do is call them on their ** and demand results. if that doesn't do anything take your money elsewhere (in a hurry).

No it isn't fair at all NMD. It's not like there's a board or group of administrators making decisions for students and alumni's.

One man (Vice President), has been making decisions and policies for thousands of people, for the last several years. He really is incompetant for the job. i'm not saying this out of personal vendetta, but from previous conversations with him and the results of his job performance.

i couldn't tell you what is the function of the ghost president, but it seems like he's detached from the school. you only hear about him, no apperances to students or work on behalf of the students. so why is he there? $$$$ that's the only thing i can think of.

spartan has great students and alumi's, but it's really unfortunate that an insecure micro manager with zero vision for the future is pulling all the strings.

Exactly, but you know, I do not believe that he make that much money at all. ********* pays him a little fixed salary. I think it is more due to his laziness. Sad, very sad... -s&a

I want to know what kind of administration can't even answer their telephone saying Spartan HSU . They just say hello! I don't think that anyone in the office is a college grad even *******. It's a circus over there. For all we know they may be operating out of the back of a van on a cell phone.
I think everyone working there is related to *******, like his in laws or even his mom. Sounds like a desi mela over there.

i have no idea what that's all about. i don't think they realize it's unprofessional and border's on scandelous. it's like their answering the phone from home. maybe it's for court purposes. "we never said we we're spartan."

you feel like most other students and grads. what can you do? post your experiences here (people need to know the extent of VP's bad decision making, and the effects it has on alumni's), and don't recommend spartan to anyone, unless there is a regime change.

p.s. don't throw any molatave cocktails in the fake office...i hear they're illegal in New Mexico.

I hate Spartan with a passion. I feel like going to St. Lucia and meeting with the students down there and telling them of our experiences. Althought it's too late for us maybe we can prevent them from making the same mistake. I'm sure they can transfer to Saba or AUC or anywherere BUT Spartan

******* needs to be fired, simple as that... Regime change is the only answer. I've always been the type of person that believes in giving people a second chance but this is really tooooo much.

They need to fires this, this, this person or whatever you want to call him and start over again. Really they should just sell the school to someone who will give a *#$% and not these ridiculous people... Its a shame, a real shame... I feel bad for everyone involved, grads, students, everyone... The students should stage an all out revolution. This school could be a goldmind. Its one of the oldest schools in the carib and it has some of the most successful grads in top USA hospitals. What are they thinking??? They should just sell the school. Anyone with half a brain can make Spartan into a great school. Look at Saba, they aren't even half as old as Spartan, they started sometime in the 1990's and they are kicking Spartan's butt.... -s&a

while all schools moving forward seeking and gaining approvals Spartan keep losing the battle[loans,states,media..],I have heared it from a reliable source that if a school in the carribean is not already approved in CA,FL,and NY and afraid to spend money on the approval process or afraid of the evaluations outcome then they are not fit to be recognized, that also could be the anticipated outcome of the FSMB.California issue soon will be very minor issue compare of what's comming, where are the students, residents, alumni, are you waiting until they ask you to surronder your lab coats and licenses!!!!!You must demand immediate changes and listen to state boards[if its not too late already].
