:-happy Does anyone know anything about the new Medical College of London (MCL). So far I've heard its located right in London and conducts basic science classes at King's College (Guy's Campus), uses dorms of King's College, and uses faculty of King's College and its own as well. Can any graduates of this college please give us some info on it? Is it successful so far with the USMLE and Residencies? What is the advantage of going here vs. St. Christophers?
Thanks

I would really rather avoid a "school A vs school B" thread. But all I will say is be carfeful of a school that has no charter and has to have another school acredit their diploma. Also, the school hasn't even had students here for a year yet... it is up to you, but do A LOT of research!!

Yes, that's true. They started last Fall. They have approximately 40-50 students in their basic science program.

The school just started so they really don't have much success with this. They have very few clinicals in the US and they're more geared to teaching UK students. Most of their students were UK nationals studying for limited GMC registration. They barely had any Americans in their program.
What is the advantage of going here vs. St. Christophers?
The use of King's facilities. However, if they were to grow to the size of St Chris in a few years, they probably will move out of King's and fully relocate to Greenwich. Although they are using King's facilities now, they don't have the space to expand their operations within King's College.
