Hi,

I have a question about financial aid. Is it true that you have to pay upfront for first semester at Saba? If true are there any other loans available for use? Also how is it possible for one to pay that much upfront without getting a loan? If someone could please shed some light on this matter it would be really helpful.

The first semester's tuition is payable up front. Saba admin tells me that this is requirement is a type of security condition placed upon them by the loan company. If you are willing to send in a $6,000 check, then you are probably actually going to show up on Saba for school and not fly to Vegas for a great vacation with the money instead.

I'm selling some of my possesions such as my car to get money for the first semester. If I didn't do that, I'd have to get an extra job or something.

Teri is currently the only loan available at Saba.
