I'm a 5th trimester student at Palmer in Davenport, IA. I am actually considering a MD degree from AUC after completion of my DC. I'd love to hear anyone's opnion on why they decided to persue the MD, thanks...
PS
I'd really appreciate any advice that current AUC students, who also hold DC degrees, could give me on the similarities and differences between the two curriculums. What would you say is the most difficult area for us to adapt to (pharm, chemestry)?
I'm especially concerned about how well DCs tend to do on the boards?
Thanks for any help you can give!!!

Hey Handsondoc,
I'm a DC will be going on to 3rd semester in January.
I graduated from Life in '88 and had been in practice for 5 years before I headed down here. There are several students in school who hold DC degree and as far as I know, they are all doing well. I haven't failed any classes yet so I guess I'm doing ok as well. I can't speak for others but I find AUC's curriculum pretty challenging. The only class that I thought being a DC might have helped was anatomy and may be histology. Other than that, my guess was the same as my classmates.
Anyway, if you're considering AUC I won't hestitate to recommend it.
If you have anymore questions, you can PM me.
good luck
