This is standard practice in almost all medical schools. Many of them have the notes online, which makes it very convenient.

.....notes are provided but not for the whole semster...they are given as the professor gives them out

however some professor do provide all their notes at once for a section...such as biochem.....they always had the disc in the library with the notes for that test and you could copy them on your pc

this semster we will also start to operate our local drive for notes.....we will be going to this system by the following semster....you will still be able to purchase paper notes if you want....
