If anyone has a chance to answer that would be great?
A. What are the major advantages of attending AUC over other car.Med.Schools when finances are not considered?
B. What happened within the past 2 months that has dramatically affected students wanting to attend AUC and Illicited so many "posts."
C. Are there any Florida hospital affilitions? I did not see any on the web site.
D. Is there an interview process - once again none was mentioned on the AUC site - if not acceptance is based solely on your stats and experiences.
Lastly, I was accepted to SGU and am currently waiting to here if I will be accepted to AUC, if I am it is going to be a tough choice - any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Some Answers..
Without financial consideration -
1) It's Calif approved
2) Strong background and education
3) Best and most modern island of the Caribbean <- Mucho important
4) Smaller class sizes than Ross or Sgu
Past two months? Hurricane =)
Interview? Only if they have a question about your application or you're sitting on the border I think.

Those posts are probably are med students procrastinating...
Actually, both schools are great.
If you don't mind roughing it for a little while, goto SGU as you said money isn't a factor.
I have a wife to worry about so AUC was and still is the best choice for me. Whether or not this applies to you I don't know. Good luck!

I have posted several times on why I chose AUC over SGU and Ross and it really comes down to the living conditions. AUC is on a nice island with access to most everything I can find in the US it is not exactly like being in the states but it is close. SGU and Ross or on ghetto islands and after visiting both there is NO WAY I would live there not even if it was a US allopathic school instead of a Caribbean school.
