LMAO... okay... well first off let me say that I think we all need a lesson on how to use the "SEARCH" button at the top of the screen. If we do a search on just this topic alone, I am sure that within the 2 months of me using ValueMD I have seen this topic come up twice at least... lol... but to ONCE AGAIN answer this question....
NO! You can NOT bring your laptop into the library to use on the internet! You can bring it in to use at a desk where you will use it to study... but NOT into the internet area.... As for the ROUTER idea... it's a good one... BUT, the whole reason why we don't have a wireless network is because of "SECURITY" reasons... so I CERTAINLY don't think they will let you use your own ROUTER there!!! LOL... The idea is actually pretty entertaining.... I would love to see Dean Knight's face if you suggested it to him... it would definitely be a KODAK moment!!!

OMG... I went to UTM from 1999-2003... I had Poe for chem... denk for inorganic (he isn't there anymore cause he blew up a lab, and then didn't get tenure) and Macdonald for phys chem and quantum mechanics... and then Macdonald was also my research supervisor.... What a small world.... I didn't take any bio there... i was scared cause 1st year bio was supposedly impossible.... lol

macdonalds lab eh
so i guess you worked with carla franzin and her hubby, and darlene. what was the last that you heard of them? were you testing lipid viscosities or something? you probably hung with jerry tusa too during lunch break. i heard he left reed's lab.

OMG, you knew Darlene... lol.... she is a sweetheart.... well, she left before finishing her PhD and then while we were finishing 4th year, she came back to complete it again, but she was off and on and I think she still isn't done it (that was 2 years ago that she came back to try to finish it)... I knew of Carla, but she left before I could really get to know her... I think she ended up at UC San Diego (they have a huge NMR center there). Yeah, I was working on monitoring transmembrane movement of lipids via 2H-NMR and 31P-NMR.
