hey...i have been looking on this site for many months trying to figure out what i want to do and how i want to become a doctor. Many of you have pm'ed me and helped me out a lot. I was looking today at the individuals that posted that they were rejected from the school, unofortunately i match their stats. However, like everyone has said, it is about your application as a whole. I will be applying to AUC and SMU as my top choices and my applications are going out this month. I just wanted to thank everyone, including moderators and school officials of all schools for all the advice that you have given me no matter what the outcome. Hopefully it works out and i end up being a doctor with an md from one of my top choice schools, and they see past my horrible stats and look at what i have done in clinical, research, and volunteer experience. The reason i wrote this is, i have seen many people in the past get angry when they don't get in, and although it would be disheartening, i wanted to thank valuemd and all the people on it for all the help.
