Cheap 1st class tickets SEA to SXM

I am flying to SXM for the January starting class from Seattle (Nearly 4000 miles). Using Orbitz, I just found some first class tickets to SXM for only $557 total one-way! The cheapest one-way coach was only $180 less, so this is a good deal.

You can do this with either US Airways (operated by United) or with Delta through Orbitz. Both airlines are having financial difficulties, and I suspect US Airways will be out of business within the next year, which is why you can find such a great deal. Also, the airplanes are Airbus A320 and Boeing 757, which are a little older and don't have all the dohickeys that the new 777s have.

I am flying one-way because I already bought a fully refundable return ticket for VISA purposes. I will then refund the ticket and stay on the island for the full five semesters.

For someone who has always flown coach on Southwest or Jetblue, first- class is exciting. Too bad I don't drink alcohol, I hear the wines are excellent.

is better in first class. from the warm towels they give you to wash your face to the loffers and private video screens.....

i love first class....i can fly coach for trips less than 3-4 hours on non-holidays because the coach seats don't get unconfortable unless its over 4 hours or its holidays and the three screaming babies that happen to be on the flight are all orbiting around you....so then its nice to have the extra space....
