Hey guys,
Just wondering if the weather is consistently 85 and over? When I check the weather online it just says 88 with scattered showers for everyday of the week.
Do you have many long sleeve items with you? I know its colder in the school buildings, but I'm just trying to figure out how many "colder" weather items to bring.
Or are you in a t-shirt/shorts 99% of the time?
Thanks!

Make sure though to bring a fair number of jeans/long pants and light long sleeved shirts though. Lecture halls are cold, good protection against mosquitos, and all that.

Yeah, it's pretty much always 85 and over. Sometimes I wear jeans to class or if I got out at night (due to mosquitos), but otherwise I'm always in shorts and T-shirts. I brought down 3 long sleeved shirts and haven't worn any of them.

The weather may read 85, but the heat index is much higher (heat index can get into the 100's). It can be quite humid at times. I am from michigan and I have adjusted quite quickly to the weather- I really enjoy it. you can always cool off in the ocean. Bring a couple of pairs of jeans and some light long sleeved t's, a sweatshirt for cool nights- you should be fine. The other posters gave great advice- the school building is cold.
