I think what jbond refering to is the Federation of state medical boards Spring meeting in April[they formed a committe to review the standards of education in the carribean schools] and such new committe will give the 7 states adpoted the proposal [NC,OH,OK,KY,...]the recommendations on how to deal with applications from certain schools and the new guidlines and rules to be adpoted for certain schools as public policies.

It all depends on how fair they are...
In general, I think that it could be a good thing if they set guidelines that international medical schools can follow. On the other hand, it would be a bad thing if they only pick on a few carib schools...
I think that it would be really nice if there was a fair standard to go by for international medical schools. Then it would'nt be so much like the wild, wild west... -s&a
