What are the clinical hospitals affiliated with MUA,Belize.

Your best bet: call the MUA Belixe office or fax them and request a clinical list.

We are currently working with several hospitals in the Atlanta area, Chicago area and we have hospitals in Belize - all are green book - no blue. There are locations in the UK that are available upon request. However, with the pound being so strong, it is quite costly so as a rule we do not send students there unless it is requested. As other hospital affiliations are finalized, we will list the locations.

Just started Family Practice in Atlanta (Atlanta Medical Center)and these rotations are very good and all of the cores are scheduled back to back - no breaks!! Thanks Dr. *****!

Greenbook rotations are rotations done in a hospital where there is also a residency program for that rotation. For example, I am from Tupelo MS. The hospital there has a family practice residency program. I could theoretically do my family practice rotation there. But since that is the only residency program there, if I did a Ob/Gyn rotation there also (which some hospitals will allow), the Ob/Gyn would not be considered greenbook, since there is no residency program there for Ob/Gyn.

By the way, I am at MUA Nevis, not Belize. Be careful what the schools tell you about greenbook. Often they will say your getting greenbooks when actually only one of the rotations are in fact greenbook. PM if you have any other questions.

they told that they have affiliated hospitals in atlanta and chicago. but affiliation is only at atlanta as their are no students at chicago;

There are currently students doing rotations in Chicago as MUA students from Belize. The contract is solely for the Belize students.
