If you cant pass a Ross mini, with the huge curve and all, you dont stand a snowballs chance in Dominica of passing the boards. Jealous, you are totally mistaken. Anyone who wants to use these exams to cheat are the ones who will be jealous - jealous of the people who will be passing step 1.

Before you try to say something like I am jealous of you being able to get raw 90's, I dont think so. I study and make raw 90's(without cheating).

lemme just say.... i don't condone cheating in med school....

but be a little creative, and think about her case, IF it is true.

she most likely is studying (she says she sits at the cubicles), enough to pass the USMLE, but not enough to pull 90's on her own, so she gets a little help via unscrupulous ways.

in the end, she most likely will pass the usmle, as C students can even pass with a little work.... in addition to having a couple A's on her transcript.

We're just all pissed because she gloats about being a cheater, and has the upper hand at the moment. And out of our anger, we hope she fails the USMLE and gets thrown out of school.

She may just as well have the last laugh.

the fact of the matter is that there is no cheating with exams - years ago when they were made in the copy room - yes but not anymore - there is an exam center with an alarm and the only two people with access are
Dr K and Dr D - nobody can get thru them - so please dont start silly rumors like this

Nothing is as sterile as you think. Whether cheating goes on or not, the manner in which things are run lends to a certain shadiness that most students feel in regards to what the administration does with grades and exams.

I understand that no school is perfect but who here really believes in everything the Ross administration says? Who really believes that there is absolutely nothing shady about the school? If nothing else, even something as simple as handling a student's financial aid application is routinely screwed up by Ross. Even with all these screw ups, the same people continue to hold their jobs. Its shady for the school not to act on something as huge as this (we're talking about millions of dollars in financial aid money being filtered into the system every few months!)....considering the Dean acts so quickly to impose his rules and regulations at a moments notice. I find some incongruency there.
