Hi-
Wondering where to apply in EE (I'm American). I was pre-med entering college but gave up after behaving very selfish-ly in an emergency situation. Finished first two years of college with a 2.1 GPA and lost my Natl. Merit Scholarship. Turned it around and ended up with a 3.8 in the last two years in English literature. Been working as a journalist in the Middle East and volutneering at hospitals since graduating. Last month I more or less saved a car-accident victim, and I've been thinking more and more about med school.
Where should I apply besides 1st faculty in Prague? Besides quantative chemistry, I'll be (re)learning all the science in the next couple months before going to EE to test. I'm thinking Feb. or March to test - from Cairo. I'm proficient in Arabic, so maybe this will help my app. stand out. I'm worried about cramming all the science into such a short period, but I generally do very well in standardized tests.
I have enough savings for three or four years in living expenses but will need Stafford loans for tuition and living beyond those years.
So Charles University. Drebecen. Anyplace else without doing the pre-med requirements at a US uinv.? I'd like to start in fall 2005.
