I have an interview in Edison, NJ this Tuesday. I am a bit worried because my MCAT score wasn't the greatest. Is there anything I should know or do before going?
I have been leaning towards Ross, more so than AUC, but recently there have been really negative things said about Ross...why such negativities? It's making me think twice about Ross. I have not heard anything negative about AUC. Well I guess I will know after the interview...
Thanks everyone!!!

Where have you been hearing these negative things about Ross? If it's from this forum then you should really give yourself a gut check and realize that what you get on this forum is a very very very small sample of people's experience's at Ross. And remember, the people you hear complaining the most are usually the ones that aren't doing too well. It is very rare to here someone say I have a 4.0 at Ross and I hate everytihng about the place and the school sucks. So just make a decision for yourself based on what you like and dislike about Ross. Don't let other's influence your decision. Afterall you want to be a physician, one of the professions that requires the most self decision making. As for your MCAT score just be prepared for questions about it. I interviewed in Miami so I'm not sure how the NJ people do it, but the Miami interview was very calm and non-intimidating, they just want to hear what you have to say about your academic record.
Best of Luck!!

I really never heard that AUC has any advantage over Ross except for the fact that they are located on a better island... in my opinion, thats hardly a factor in deciding where to get a better medical education...
Anyway, good luck on your interview and be prepared to work hard to make the best out of your stay at Ross, otherwise... its going to be a waste of time and money...
I think you tend to get complaints on an anonymous forum like this simply because it's a way to vent. The ones who are happy don't feel the need to vent about anything (good or bad). The ones who are doing well, hardly complain about anything at all. If they do, they just tend to quickly brush it off and get on with what's really important here: studying. The ones who aren't doing so well... tend to make more remarks about this sucks or that sucks. Advice: just be flexible here and realize what's important and don't let things get to you if it's going to affect your attitude and ability to study.

Exactly right...the "quality" of an island should, undoubtedly, be one of the last factors in deciding what medical school to attend.

Exactly, the "quality" of the island is not important, it's the "quality" of the school.
