I really appreciate any information!! thanks!!RSCI, Trinity and UCD all take americans (and galway and cork probably do to)Since Americans are paying folks, they reserve a few seats. HOWEVER its a 5-6 year program. THe schools are very good though.

My husband is rotating with some RCSI students at Waterford Regional Hospital right now- some are Americans. If you want, I can ask him to get a contact for you to communicate with about the "ins and outs" of life as an RCSI student. If you have Q's about Ireland, feel free to ask.

Dear Madison,
Have you got a school in Ireland yet? You can also look up the websites.

rohania and julestx,
sorry i have taken such a long hiatus! but i would really appreciated some contacts at RCSI!
this morning i received an invitation for an interview with RCSI...something unexpected as i'd decided to try to focus on other things besides medical school for the past few months. julestx, are you originally from ireland? is dublin fairly diverse?

No, I'm not Irish. We are only here for the clinicals. I will get a contact for you. Have you checked out the Caribbean schools? I just remember some of the students talking about the length of time the RCSI students were in school - more like 6 years isnt it? If you have your prereq's/undergrad done, you could spend less time in school at another school, I think. I dont know anything about U. Dublin - but I wouldnt hesitate for a second to live in Dublin! I love it there! (Everywhere here in Ireland is amazing, though). Well, I'll return when I have a contact for you...hopefully today.
