AT@T in Dominca

Hello,

I was trying to get an idea about some of the services and rates for the cell phones and wireless internet access from AT&T in Dominica. I saw the email for the rep. in the welcome packet from the school. I sent her an email but she never responded. There is a phone number in there but I do not want to spend the money to call to Dominica. Does anyone know how much the rates are for cell service and wireless internet from AT&T. Also if you get the cell from there , would I be able to use it in the US when I visit in between semesters. Any help is appreciated.

they would be useless.. they have no idea what type of service ATT DM would have.. nor would they sell it to you there.

judging from the service and bad reception around here, it looks like ATnT is teh suck.

as for rates? you're not gonna get a cheap rate to call to the states, if thats what you're wondering.

most people use cable and wireless phone service. it's just better service.

bottom line is don't worry about phone service until you get here.

if you get internet service, you can use VoIP to call the states.
