Just so people know, Ross no longer uses national education, in fact the only companies they will certify now is Key Bank or Sallie Mae. I got this from a financial conselor in New Jersey.
Now that's interesting because the Financial Aid staff in Dominica say that we still use National, as a matter of fact the 1st semester class are supposively getting their loans from them.

all i know is from what my financial aid person told me in an email
Robert,
I regret to inform you that we do not have any relations with National Education anymore, and we will no longer certify or submit any National Education loans to them. Therefore, you may choose to apply through Sallie Mae, or Key Bank. These are the lenders we are currently offering.
Any additional questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
TP

Why is it that Ross is having problems with NE? I was approved for loans for the upcoming two semesters. Could this situation affect me? Just want to know my options.

I will go and talk to my financial aid counselor here on the island... I have national ed scheduled for disbursement already for 12/31 and 4/2005 sure would be nice to know if they are not going to give me this money. I have had problems with financial aid EVERY semester since I have been here. So be prepared. I will let you know what I find out

If you can I would go through Sallie Mae. I havent had any issues with them since undergrad. The school on the other hand is worthless. The financial aid department here is horrible.
