WHILE IN ROSS I WANT TO: obtaining my MD, scuba cert, hike, snorkel,
enjoy the experience,....i

I CHOSE ROSS OVER OTHER MED SCHOOLS B/C:
*I was hesistant about SGU education immediately after the hurricane
*Ross has a higher steps pass rate (surely up till 2002 = 88%)
*Away from temptations/distrations of tourism....if I feel the need to
party I can do w/ a house part
*I wanted to start ASAP...
*I rather buy a new bag rather than pay for any school's application
fee (besides I was sure that I got into Ross)

You're not the only odd one out not going in right after undergrad. I've been out of school for 3 years now. Granted, it's not THAT long of a time, but I'm still spoiled to getting off of work and doing whatever I want in the afternoons, so it will be quite intersting to get back into the swing of things.

Im also one that is not going in right after undergrad. I did take a few Bio courses after graduation as a student at large because i was considering doing my Master's but changed my mind and decided to go into Medicine instead.

Hey There -

Architecture/Pre Med at The University of Arizona

Thank God for this site. I've been preparing for Ross for over a year, and am THRILLED to have been accepted, but I am still freaking out. Between microscopes and mosquitos I haven't had the time to start worrying about how much BioChem I've retained. Is any one else going to get there penniless and wants to share a tent next to the cafeteria to save on rent? I mean, of course we'd have cable  . Is anyone near Central Florida who is going in Jan 2005?

Hello everyone, I also start Jan 05.
I am very excited, but also a little nervous. I live in Sterling, VA. Does anyone live in the Washington DC area? Also, has anyone been on campus to see the apartments? Any suggestions?

Nat

The apartments are not that bad. It depends on the price and what you feel comfortable. I will be getting an apartment that I visited, hopefully if this people from Ross finally get intouch with the landlord....but honestly the more expesive ones are not always the nicest or cleanness.

Hello All,

Congratulations on your admission to Ross!

I'm going into my 4th semester at Ross and need to sell my microscope before I leave.

The microscope is like new and if you buy it, you can get all the free advice you'd like about the island....I've been here a while and have done really well so I have a lot of good inside advice...

Please PM me or email me at rasai@yahoo.com if you are interested in the microscope. If you buy it, I'll personally deliver it to you when we all get back to school.

Thanks a lot! Happy Holidays!
