How are you guys arranging for the flights? Any cheap airline? Also, does any airline take us directly from NY to Dominica? If not, where is the connection? Do we take a plane to and fro or is it one of those small and scary jets? Any input will be appreciated.

Danimaztani:
American Eagle has the largest planes flying into Mellville hall airport and they seat 60. Two props are all you get. Some small carribean airlines such as Liat and Carib air have planes seating 20-30 but if you are from the US it is better to deal with US carriers especially if you have connecting flights.
Wait to you see the lines at the airport for a flight of 60 people. Get there 3 hours early and hope you aren't bumped off the flight.
Good luck

You guys should check Jet Blue. I saw flights (they were return Flights) from San Juan to NY for 99.00. I'm from Florida, so I didnt get too much info. I just saw it on their website. I think it was www.jetblue.com
