Attention Ross Forum Users:

There has been an increase in reports from the Ross Forum lately resulting in many posts being moved to the Relaxing Lounge. This is occassionally done as a courtesy since the Relaxing Lounge is less restricted than the other forums on the site (otherwise many of the posts would be subject to official warnings added to accounts). But the problem is that the same types of posts continue to get posted in the Ross forum after they are moved  . For this reason, we will not continue to extend this courtesy to repeat offenders.

The most common problems in these recent posts include:

1. Many of the same users (some with multiple accounts which is not permitted)
2. personal insults
3. religous/racial/ethnic remarks
4. flooding (multiple repetitive posts/threads)
5. off topic
6. personal info
7. flaming
Many of those recently moved posts have no place on this website. However, if it is posted anywhere, it should be in the Relaxing Lounge. Any future posts resembling the description above which are posted in the Ross Forum will be subject to Moderator review and the appropriate action will be taken. In addition, the multiple account holders run the risk of having ALL their accounts deactivated automatically by our system.

And just to make this point clear....the Ross Forum is for discussions related to the school, while the Relaxing Lounge is for off topic disucussions. Although the Lounge is less restricted, the TOS still apply. Please help us to keep the discussions on this website organized and on a professional level. Thanks for your cooperation.

You are totally correct. This forum should be an area where current and future students and other interested individuals IE: their parents should be able to discuss and obtain objective information on school, living conditions, beconming a doctor etc. As an adult worikng in New York CIty I have been very discouraged by the types of threads that have been popping up on the Ross site.

Of course it is always impossible to know wheter they are started by discruntled students or by totally unrelated parties who just like to stir things up.

Hopefully you will be able to clean the site up so that interested parties can continue to get the information that the site was intended to provide.

Good job!!!
