A 39-year-old woman with rheumatoid arthritis develops proteinuria after treatment with penicillamine. Examination of tissue obtained on renal biopsy shows diffuse fine granular deposits of IgG and C3 in the glomerular basement membrane. The most likely diagnosis is

A) focal segmental sclerosis
B) Goodpasture's syndrome
C) IgA nephropathy
D) membranous glomerulonephritis
E) minimal change disease

Is it "D"? Drug-induced MGN?

it is D membranous glomerulonephritis

the majority of GN are immunocomplex type III hypersensitivity (exception is Goodpasture which is type II)

Granular deposits of IgG and C3 in the glomerular basement membrane suggest it.

Focal segmental sclerosis is seen in HIV or IV drug users. The deposits are IgG and not IgA.
Minimal change is MC is children.
