USMLE step 1

I took my step 1 on the 30th of sept. I have been a nervous wreck for the past 3 wks. Can someone please tell me when to expect the results and is there any truth to the rumour that if your results are posted before a certain time chances are you have failed/passed? :roll:

I took my exam on Sept 23. Oasis updated on Oct. 20 ( 4weeks). (I passed!!) No score yet in mail. Some friends had to wait 5 weeks, so don;t worry. 8)

You can find out whether you have passed or fialed by trying to re-register for step one on the ECFMG website. If they let you re-register, You failed.. If they do not let you re-register, You passed. Hope this helps.... Speedy.

HI FRIENDS, I BEEN STUDING FOR STEP 1 FOR A WHILE NOW. MY TEST IS IN 4 WEEKS AND YESTERDAY I SCORE A 450 ON THE NBME, ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO IMPROVE MY SCORE I WOULD LIKE TO BE ON THE 600 BEFORE I TAKE THE TEST. PLEASE ANY COMMENT WILL BE WELCOMED.
