For a minute, i saw the weight loss syndrome and my mind didn't go to anorexia nervosa which manifests as: weight loss, body image distortion, electrolyte imbalances. BEWARE!
2) A= Not too sure!!!!! Cystic fibrosis is associated with Vitamin A deficiency
I am not too sure but sure enough vitamin A deficiency manifests as hyperkeratosis and night blindness but i don't know about hemorrhagic episodes. Please, Can someone explain?
3) B= others are water soluble

Cystic fibrosis causes malabsorption of fat and hence deficiencies in the fat-soluble vitamins, ADEK.

CF is characterized by a lack of pacreatic enzymes. And pancreatic enzymes are needed for fat breakdown (ADEK). Hence CF pts can't break down "A" D, E, "K".

I think the hem. episodes is probably due to vitamin K def.

The weight loss syndrome got me to! Good question.
