NBME assessment for step 1???

Hi, did anyone here take the NBME assessment exams, either form 1 or form 2? How were your scores and if you have taken step 1, how did they correlate with your actual scores?
Also, how long before your actual test date would you recommend to take the NBME assessment?

I haven' taken it but i have read and copied for you these correlations. You should take the NBME assessment aprox. 2-3 weeks before your test so you have time to study your weak areas

I hear that there is a high correlation bet. the NBME assessment and the actual USMLE scores.
Does anyone have this experience?

i scored 580 on the nbme practice test and got a 232 on step 1

I took NBME 1 and NBME 2 thee days prior to taking the USMLE... on the form 1 I scored 790 (265) on form 2 I score 710 (257)... On the actual exam I scored 258... so I am an advocate for the NBME tests! do them in normal mode and try to sit for the whole thing in one sitting which will make the experience more like the real thing. GOOD LUCK!
