A few questions about the clinicals in Juarez: How about doing all of my clinicals in Juarez, or at least the core clinicals? If I do, would it hurt my chances of getting a US residency (Family Med or Internal Med)
Also, what are the clinicals in Juarez like? For example, what time do they start, finish, how many days per week, do the Mexican docs speak English. How about working while I am in clinicals in Juarez? Would it be possible? Thanks

Sure.

You can, but it might not be a good idea. Providing that those clinicals are still available.

Some residencies require that you have a certain amount of US experience.

Clinicals are crappy. Calling them clinicals is overrated. Most start around 9am and end at 12 noon. Three hours on average, actual learning 20 minutes.

Most do not speak english. you can work cause you basical not doing any real clinical training. the bottom line is, do you want to be the guy who doesn't know anything clinically.
