I would like to know if anyone has information as far as tranfering from a Romanian medical school to an American Medical school with some form of advanced placement. I'm an American studying at Victor Babes Universitatea de Medicinae in Timisoara, Romania. I have barely any of the typical premed courses under my belt, and would like to know my prospects of transferring back to America after my 3rd year. By that time I will have finished all my "sciences" and will be beginning the bulk of my clinical studies.

This is near impossible. Typically, the people who are able to transfer from foreign schools have had very good pre-med stats, very high Step 1 scores as well as a lot of luck. A very small number of transfer spots open up in US allopathic medical schools, as the drop out rate is insignificant. In addition, state schools that accept foreign transfer applicants usually limit them to state residents. Some private schools are a bit more liberal, but the limiting factor is the number of open spots.
