smu, is having alot of failing rates! it has proved itself to be from the top failing medical schools along with ross. anyways, forget about smu, go to saba.....its the best school. best rotations and residency. and also aua, has all its teachers from ross, along with the old ross president.
you have better chances there. smu, has no campus, no guarantee that it will continue if it decides not to. so study your butts off and concentrate and choose a better school. smu, is for drop outs. all the failing students from other schools go there if they are dismissed or kicked out. especially from auc. there are five people that were accepted to attend smu, this jan. term, but then came went to saba instead. anyways look into schools and choose something that suits you.

zzzzz,
It's funny to see you jump ships with every passing second. Are you really a student? You said u r a 3rd semester student at Ross and looking to transfer to SMU in jan and yet, u are putting out some incorrect info. Do you ever think you can pass your classes or every professors is out to get you? I don't know you but if you are a med student, you have set yourself up for failure. You said you are going to leave Ross in Jan if you fail, and you are here talking about SMU failing people, put your time into studying IF U R REALLY A STUDENT and maybe you would not have to worry about other people TRYING TO FAIL YOU. Good luck and do your research b4 lying like this.

As George wrote, he probably is the same guy. Interestingly, he posted, “forget about smu, go to saba.....its the best school”. Upon reading his other post, I suspected he was from Saba but I wasn’t sure. I agree that Saba is a good school along with St. Georges, AUC, and a few others. Ross has a very good stateside reputation and I’ve met a handful of their students that speak very highly of it, it’s just that I’ve met more of their students (present and past) that don’t.

He stated, “five people that were accepted to attend smu, this jan. term, but then came went to saba instead”…and his point is? I know about five people that were accepted to Saba and decided to go to SMU instead…I was one of them!

He also stated, “all the failing students from other schools go there if they are dismissed or kicked out. especially from auc”. I know of only three students that transferred to SMU from AUC and two of them, I know for a fact, did not fail out of AUC. I have no idea about the other one, but he seemed to be a pretty good student. (Keep in mind that I left the island a year ago.)

I’m not saying that St. Matt’s doesn’t have its share of faults. We have our issues just as any another other school, but fortunately we have an excellent administration that is guiding the direction of the school.

It sounds like this guy is having a lot of trouble with school; first Ross, then SMU, now he is giving Saba a shot…best of luck to him and hopefully in the future he will stay off the SMU forum.

If he is reading this, I’ve got some free advice…start studying more and complaining less, you’ll be surprised how much better your school will begin to look!

Peace,
MS3
