not KA... it needs to be around for 15 years first. TX, who knows, pretty tuff. i wonder if the effects of ivan will affect their ruling here soon (as far as licensure in CA goes).

The state of California will vote whether or not to accept SMU in November. If for some reason the state's medical board doesn't decide in November then we will have to wait until February 2005 to find out. Apparently when the California medical board visited the island a few months ago, they were pleased and their checklist of things to add/change was very short and the items listed were allegedly pretty minor. So it looks pretty good for us California residents. All best wishes to SMU, I for one hope that they get California approval as soon as possible.
