I have recently joined this Forum and wished I had known about it earlier.
I joined the Falcon Review Class thinking that with 6 weeks of preparation and their *guarantee* of a passing score I would have enough time to take the exam in October and begin clinical rotations. The Review Class was a COMPLETE waste of time and I lost lots of money. I came home and cancelled my exam date with the intention of extending my eligibility period. However, I still must start clinical rotations. The first rotation is in OB-GYN.
I am at a loss as how I am to study for the USMLE while in rotations and if it is even a good idea to do so. And I am upset becuz I may not make the 2006 Match. I have no idea how to begin studying on my own--how to schedule my time, how much time to take, the importance of making the match, etc...
Could someone PLEASE shed some light. I am just completely LOST and a bit depressed.
