I am an IMG about to take Step 1 for the THIRD TIME!!! How since I failed the first two, is there still a chance for me getting a residency (assuming I passed it)? Is an IMG totally screwed if he ended up with just a "passing" (182 or 75%) grade. I would appreciate any feedback.

2 little 2 late -- I can't help you with your questions...
but can you tell us about your experience as an IMG ... where you went, what kind of background (gpa, etc) you had going in?

Caution to those taking Step1 multiple times.

There are several US states out there (Texas, Oklahoma and others) that are very strict in their residency applications. These states may not allow you to do a residency if you have taken the Step1 more than 3 times.
