There are over 5,000 graduates of SGUSOM. Its time to step up to the plate and show the people of Grenada how grateful we are for the opportunity they gave us. Most of us would never have realized our dreams to become physicians had it not been for the graciousness of the people of Grenada and the unstoppable determination of Charles ******, Peggy Lambert, Jane Sutter, Drs. Rao, Jordan, and Pensick etc. LET'S STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND HELP! Wouldn't it be awesome if every graduate (who could afford it) could contribute at least $1000 to help rebuild the hospital and provide humanitarian aid to our hosts in Grenada? Many of us can afford this. I am asking all graduates to make donations of any amount no amount is too small. I will be in contact with Betsy Mills (Alumni Relations) in Bay Shore. Together we can make a significant donation and provide help to the people to whom we owe so much. Help from faculty members and our clinical hospitals in the U.S. and U.K. is also welcome. The people of Grenada need our help now more than ever. Just think how different our lives would have been without the people in Grenada. NOW is our chance to make a difference in THEIR lives.
