Blahblah,
The frig is a mini one without the added benefit of a freezer (I'd imagine- it doesn't look like you could fit one in the tiny thing)! There's only one per room, and there isn't a stove anywhere abouts you can cook. I'm personally bringing my mini-George Foreman grill down just for comfort.
Here's a picture of a double occupancy room (you can go to album => saba for some more pictures of the island stuff)

Classic,

If you are carrying your George Foreman...be my guest! I'll be eating in your food (for $0.20)...hope you won't start culturing microbes to poison me...!

Polo, there won't be any charge for use of the foreman if you're willing to do dishes

Classic,

Thanks...that would be cool. So if I cook food and you eat it free, the pay is to do the dishes and vice versa, right? Can we make a deal here? That's cool, then...only that I fear you'll be surviving on noodle soups...no steaks, no drums...and ...oops, no fish! :)

I'm a fruits and veggies kinda girl, so we'd be fine w/o the steaks, fish, and chicken (my personal dislike is tuna- who could eat something that smells like that :?: ) I don't think we'll have too many dishes to wash though.

Classic,

Thanks God! You are into shrubs and greens! I was getting worried about the kind of food...and you know what? Saba might just have good and fresh veggies, no food processing plants...I hope they do not have genetically modified veggies! Not with the goats roaming around.

Yes, I hope you won't carry lots of plates...maybe just your lovely mug and plate...or maybe we may have to buy plastic /paper plates in Saba.

Classic, have a blessed labor day weekend!

Classic,
I eat tuna. It's cheap, healthy, and readily available.

I used to tell my classmates (and some actually took me up on the offer) that if they bought the food I'd cook it (as long as I got some too) - this worked for those who didn't know how to cook.

PS- The fruits and veggies are pretty regular stuff, although we also have organic spinach sometimes and hydroponic lettuce is grown on the island.
