it is a nice outline, but seems a bit shallow. for example, the califonia listing does not seem to indicate that your school must be approved.
i would be vary wary of putting to much faith in this list...there are likely many, many more requirements for most states. this is a very simplified version. if you go to one of the newer schools, i would certainly call the specific states, and the more difficult ones to find out the more stringent requirements.

People asked for a concise and general overview of the different states compiled into one, easy to read chart. The California requirements alone would likely have occupied more space than the entire simplified outline provided. There is no way to provide such a concise list and include everything from every state. So this should serve merely as a basic guide and the readers are encouraged to contact the individual state medical boards for further information (contact info for each one is provided on the list), especially since the laws are constantly changing and many details were not included.
To provide an analogy, it's kind of like faulting a USMLE review book like first aid for not providing every detail required for the USMLE. They only provide very high yield information and they encourage readers to seek more details from other reference sources. Use the review book for a general overview while using the references for details. Same here....use this list for the general overview and contact the individual states for details, verifications, and updates.
Hope this helps.

All this underscores the idea that at this stage there is no excuse for guiding yourself by lists. These are here merely to give you a general list of requirements but you need to get on the horn and call departments, speak to people, perhaps even meet in person on trips home. Something as important as future licensure should be based on more detailed information than any list or even any state health department website can provide. For foreign grads it's often the case that our situations are a little strange, no two of us has the same set of circumstances, it therefore behooves that aspiring professional to investigate the options afforded to his particular case so he doesn't end up with a door shut in his face because state "x" needs 90 pre-med hours and not 60. The devil is in the details and the people for whom this list is intended should have enough experience to know that you need to verify, verify, verify, and ask, ask, ask. Take care and God Bless.
Ozzie.

understood...i was just pointing out that this is not a conclusive, all encompasing document. it is helpful, and a good starting point, but that is all it should be.

nh doesn't require 2 years pre-med. it requires 2 years of college. the distinction between these two requirements is clear. for example if you read massachusetts reqs, it clearly requires 2 years of pre-med coursework and even mention specific classes. nh doesn't say anything about pre-med, as you claim in your list. it just says "college".
