Visiting Grenada

Has anyone taken up SGU on going to see the school after getting accepted. Rumor has it that they will pay for accepted students to come down to see the campus. Is this true, and if so, are there any "catches" involved? It would be nice to think that this is an opportunity that the school provides as an added incentive (However, something for nothing is rare in this world). Any comments on this would be great, especially from those who might have previous experience.

I did and it was very helpful. There really aren't any catches except that you have to book through MSW (but they're good so that's ok) and pay up front. The school will reimburse you once you enroll as a student(so if you come down, don't like it, don't enroll, then you're SOL). They will pay for airfare, 3 nights of hotel, and taxi to and from the airport and the hotel. They put me up at the Grand Beach Resort, which was very nice (on the beach in Grand Anse and within walking distance of a lot). I had a half day tour with Colin Dowe, the admissions officer here, and the rest of my time was my own. They do try to schedule some talk time with a student, but I came down during finals so I didn't get to talk to anyone, but met another student while I was visiting so I at least felt comfortable that I would know someone(and we became really great friends too!).
I did hear that they will pay for you and a guest (so wished I had known that!), but you may want to double check on that.
Didn't make up my mind by visiting(already knew I was going to come here), but it was definitely worthwhile(got to see what I was getting myself into!)

Will they pay for you to come visit if you have already paid your seat deposit?? I will be starting in January but would love to go visit first if they will pay for it. I paid my seat deposit in mid August, so I didn't know if I could still get it paid for or not??
