I think this is the link to the GA board:

www.medicalboard.state.ga.us

Are you a student or resident? Have you done any electives in GA? Just curious to know...

Jules
(PS - for some reason, the link isnt working right now, but I do think its correct. Here is another...maybe its just "down" right now?:

Good luck!

GA is one of the easier states to get licensed in. just pass your boards and graduate.

im a st chris graduate.

I heard other graduates from other schools have problems with licensing in ga because some of thier electives werent greenbooked, and stuff like that...

the dean from our school is trying to convince students that you can do all your rotation in lets a greenbook hospital for fp if you want to go into family practice.

I know that is completely wrong because of the licensing rules but i didnt know what exactly the law are for the state of Ga.

thanx

yo mankidav...u are right about the dean...if u do all your rotations at a site only greenbook for family practice..u will have trouble later with licensing...they clearly state u to have a significant portion of your rotations at a greenbook hospital...so everybody make sure about that..also isn't st chris doing its rotations in uk..i heard they had stopped their US rotations for a while..
and in regards to the laws of GA...i suggest emailing the board directly..and to have patience...since most of the ppl at the boards don't know how to handle such matters....
