Our admision stats. are similar to the Meharry, Morehouse and Howards in the US and SGU numbers look comparable to many public US medical school. At least with MCATS numbers.

SGU has a very, very, very good reputation (So does Ross, but not quite the same calibur as SGU).

One of my good friends, an MS_IV last year, wanted to do plastics at his med school. They picked a SGU grad over him. My friend was a pretty good canidate. This med school is in the midwest, in a somewhat "xenophobic" state as well. Needless to day, my friend was really pissed that they picked an IMG over him.
