Hey Guys,
I'm here on the island and have run into a couple of students, who all have been really cool. I'll be moving into my dorm room on the 23rd or 24th. I'll be in room 207, stop by if you are around. Later

we love the weather and most of the people so far. my fiancee and i bought a car at sunshine rentals and had a fit when it wouldnt pass inspection without another $1000. We returned the rental place and gave them a piece of our minds. They gave us our money back and we went to Marshall Motors and leased a car with insurance and maintenance included for about $380/mo. ITs worth it. believe me.

Did it have rust on it or something? A cracked windshield? Those are the only things I've heard about that prevent, or make it more difficult, to get a car to pass inspection.

I've heard you can try and bribe the inspector with a $20, it has worked well for a few people I know, but not when the manager was in.

i was dealing with the manager. he said that the rust, the brakes, and the steering all had to be fixed.

I tried the $20, I tried $100, he wouldnt budge. He kept trying to sell me ANOTHER car that he "guaranteed" would pass inspection, my guess is because he was doing the inspecting. No matter what he would not pass that car.
