The word "throes" basically means to be in the grip of something, to be embedded in it, to be in the midst of it, to be controlled by it.

It is a word that I am certain would be used often in the practice of psychiatry.

Is it credible that a trained psychiatrist would spell this word "throws"?

Losackmd, tell us what you really do, and be set free by doing so. For no matter what you say or think, there IS honor even in working at Burger King.

shouldn't this guy be banned already for starting all these personal attack threads?

And E is very conveniently next to the W key, could it be a TYPO? You've never made a typo yourself? And furthermore, who really cares to double-check what they right.

as a doc i feel sorry for the guy/gal.
He is in a lot of pain and needs to inflict some of it on others.

you are right though and i have tried to let the powers that be do exactly what you have recommended.

There is nothing helpful coming from his tirades!

glad you agree!

Wow, I can't believe you're being so civil to stateofe. Are you aware that he is studying medicine in English (not Spanish) and also doing so on a nice island, not a nightmare pit like what you repeatedly (and quite drearily) mention you endured.

And despite these two egregious crimes, you have yet to chew him out. Which means I have at least been the cause of your addressing someone here in a civil manner, truly a first for you, losermd

keep up the good work 8)

folks, if there is a post you are really concerned about, hit the blue button and send it to the moderators for review. Merely making commentary only feeds the situation and really just means you want to zing the person back, not deal with the problem.
