I just got my alternative loan refund check from Ross via Express Mail today, before leaving for the island! Has that ever happened to anyone else?

you might want to double-check with ross on that.

first of all, you're not eligible to receive any money until you register.

second, the earliest any of these checks are even available to the school is about a week before the semester starts.

call ross to double-check because you don't want to cash it or come down here and find out there was a mix-up. you could wind up waiting for another month for your real check.

if it wasn't a mistake and it actually is your check, then that's great. you're lucky to get it so early. maybe they have new procedures for these. things change in financial aid all the time at ross.
