Christmas on the Rock

How is it? I'm thinking about arriving early and just spending it on the island.

You can buy my 6 1/2 foot fiber optic christmas tree...oscillates between red and green neon!

Most of the students go home for the Xmas holidays since it traditionally is the longest semester break we have.

We arrived before Christmas last year and the only thing "different" was hearing Christmas music and seeing all the lights without cold or snow! The island will be full of tourists, since high season usually starts around Nov and lasts through March or so. A lot of the students were gone but we were able to meet and hang out with several that ended up staying on the island.

Great!! Looks like I will have company. Can't wait to see a few people when I get there.
