Congratulations thirteenthstep,
I've heard it is very hard to get Ross to give up certain documents and such....so i'm sure it hasn't been easy. I bet it feels awfully good knowing that you don't have to go back to Dominica. I can only imagine. Welcome to our school and if you feel like coming, there will be a BBQ Sat. at the RH to meet people. Good luck...see you all there.

Oh man, it was so hard, you have no idea. For weeks, they wouldnt send my transcript and everytime I called they said they sent it. Until three weeks later I called again, and I found out they never sent it. SHADY SHADY SHADY! And now finally, all the headaches and stress is over.
Im coming in Tuesday, staying at Sunshine Suites, and then apartment hunting in the following days!

How much is Sunshine Suites? I have a room reserved for me in RH that I've been billed for, but $4100 for three months seems way too steep for a dormitory, all the more so that this term the tv's will not be included, or so i was told anyway. (i believe JP mentioned this in one thread, but my apologies in advance if i am mistaken)
what exactly is the cost of staying in a weekly rent, suburban lodge type place. i can't imagine that it's too much more than the dorm, and the situation with RH being what it is i can't see them enforcing the so called dorm "requirement" for 1st termers

I think that 4100 is a good price, and u know why?
since 4100 US dollars = 3416 CI dollars, thats a great deal, did anyone check the prices on rentals? around 700-900 CI bucks for a decent 1 bedroom, and thats not including utilities, which will kill ya, electricity for instance is crazy expensive and not counting high speed internet, so stop complaining, its a good deal.
And jsut count how much a room rental would cost you. Let's say the decent room will run you 70CI dollars, that's 2100 CI dollars a month, and times 3 ( even though the total semester is 3 months and roughly 15 days) so itll come out to 6300 CI dollars which is 7560 american, and since Medachiever is not in CI dollars, that will cost you an arm and a leg
