Anyone know if there is an ice machine in residence hall ?

Also does anyone know how large the refrigerator and freezers are? How much can they fit? I plan on bringing some food my mom cooked at home to freeze in the residence hall and was hoping there was enough room.

If not anyone have an idea of how much a small freezer / ice chest costs on the island?

I dont know about the ice machine,
but someone had told me that it is a "personal sized" regrigerator with built in freezer. So I guess it is size of... perhaps a 30 inch TV ?
Because I believe I asked MDTOB if I should bring a Brita water filter instead of buying all those water bottles, and he said Brita water filter thing probably would not fit in the refrigerator...

the fridge is like one of those minifridges, i wouldnt get a brita, you might be able to fit it in, but it will be close. a great deal is at www.flowerswater.com u can get a cooler for 10bucks a month and 5 gallon water jugs for 5 bucks, and they will deliver it to the dorms. its great, i have had it for 2 months, easily the best 30CI a month i spend.

as far as an ice machine, they have them but they dont run...

Hello,

Ice machines are not plugged in for noise reasons only. The fridge is not small as in hotel. It has a can dispenser and a small freezing compartiment.
