Oviedo Office Update

I was finally able to locate a generator, and the Main SMUOnline server is up and running (I just have to go feed the beast every 8 hours or so). Most of your information is available, however, not all features are working yet.

For example, I cannot yet send remote mail, but I can view everything on the portal.

Our IT Department is working on getting as much accessible as possible.

We will also be trying to get Financial Aid and Clinicals up and running off the generator tomorrow, if the electricity is still not restored.

I will keep everyone updated as much as possible.

if we need to fax something over to the financial aid office in oviedo where can we send these forms to? (since the fax isnt working there due to the weather)

This delay sucks, however I was wondering if although I haven't been accepted yet, can i just fedex the immigration papers immediately instead of waiting for an acceptance? Thanks,

Yes, send the immigration ASAP, If you are not accepted, we will return anything you request.

I believe the phones are back up, and we will have the fax plugged into the generator tomorrow morning.

The power came back on at the Oviedo Office at about 7pm Eastern.

All Staff will be in the office tomorrow, and the phones will be set back to Oviedo from Niceville by 9am.

The IT Department came immediately, and they are currently restoring full online service.

I was told to have the immigration forms comleted and ready, and give them to the student office in the Grand Cayman once I arrived there to be sent for processing. That is if I am accepted. Should I also fed ex my immigration forms also.

sammy12, now that the power is back on and the office will reopen tommorow, just call them up and dont waste time here online by waiting for reply
