I kiss the ground every time I make it back, even if I just cross the border to Canada.

nothing beats America. Land of the big drive thru window and babes from sea to shining sea

Yeah right, that would be a cold day in you know where if Starbucks ever went out of business. They are such a huge corporation and you can find them nearly everywhere, except St. Maarten of course.

Heard from a local that they were here, in Maho, but then left for some reason... don't know if it's true or not... probably not...

There used to be a cafe, that was closed when I arrived but still had their awning up, that had signs for Starbucks coffee. They might have used Starbucks coffee, but I highly doubt it was an official Starbucks company. They don't go away that easily; especially with all of the American tourists in Maho!

for a moment I really thought you mean they used "used Starbucks coffee"...

Of course I didn't have good coffee today for my brain to function properly...

Speaking of coffee... The first ripped off experience I had from NY was when I went to buy a kebob/hot dog. The guy said 4 dollars and I never remembered those being that expensive... but I gave him the money anyways. As I was walking away, I saw another lady just handed him 3 dollars for the same thing........

I knew I should have gotten a picture with that guy treasuring the moment.... Priceless(or an extra dollar)
