Hi,

I am just curious as to if there are any gay students on campus? Are they accepted by others? I am sure there are ignorant people on campus who shun and denigrate the gay community. Thos people are everywhere. But, overall, how would I be accepted. I don't go around wearing rainbow flags and talking about sexual things as many think that is all gays do. Most people, however, tell me their gaydar goes off instantly, especially the second I open my mouth. I have the qualities that I cannot change. Will I be crucified and burned at the stake?

Don't change yourself to please the ignorant. People in medicine should be open minded. If they aren't, they don't belong there. G

Ross students are very accepting to the gay community. You'll fit in just fine. Also, the dean wears a rainbow lanyard around his neck promoting tolerance. I have yet to see any problems.
