hey i got this from the ross's website for clinical guidelines

PERSONAL LOG
All students must maintain a notebook in which they enter a copy of all their histories, physicals, and
case write-ups. The notebook must also contain a complete log of all the patients assigned to the
student (including age, sex, and diagnoses) and all procedures performed by the student.

anyone really have to do this??

Even if it is not required, a log book for real patients is a very wise thing.
It's good for your own edification. Helps you learn.
But for legal reasons too... assuming you didn't make a mistake.

However if you did do something wrong, it will be there in black and white and you are up dominican creek without a paddle.
btw, I Am Not A Lawyer.

None of us filled out logs. JPH never told us to. Not a bad idea.
