Hi friends!!

So....at last THE DAY is over....and i m standing in much worse position of waiting my result.i took it on Aug 14th..(sat)...it was hard but not impossible.i'll try to tell you my experience...that may be of little help to somebody ..as these exam experiences were to me.
First of all ...the preparation...besides studies...u should take care of few things on the day....take with u..two ids of urs..(u never know),jacket,mild analgesic(in case)...u have taken before and no known allergies,FA,food and drinks.u may visit the centre ...1-2 wks before..if not very far....so that u are already aware of atmosphere.
Don't forget to eat light and sleep well the day before the exam.
the most important ...DON'T PANIC...just keep ur cool....and relax by taking deep breaths.....remember ..u have ..done a lot of hard work...and all the prayers...of ur well wishers are with u...above all..GOD almighty is with u.
Now the exam.....it was very similar in some ways as ...people describe.
most of patho and pathophysiology..integrated with micro..then physio and pharma..with lots graphs..biochem...a lot of molecularbiology q, anat...mostly neuro and upper limb ,lower limb...also...behavioural science...a few doctor patient Q,some epidemiology.
now subject wise...
pathology and pathophysiology-almost everything asked in an integared form...still endo,respi,renal,hemat.cardio,git....in descending order...Goljan is really good...he makes u understand,he makes u relate and also he makes u laugh....he is reallya good teacher..who helps u to develop an attitude.
phsio-lotsa graphs..most from endo ,renal,cardio.respi.... graph on
menstral cycle ,starling eq,GFR,FF.... notes are really good for them.....
pharma-lots of q from gen.pharma...partial agonist/antagonist,receptors......a whole lot of q's.....know them ALL...MOA of drugs,MOA of acquiring resistance...some drugs were new ...i even didn't heard of their name...but concept was asked..with them,so ..u can..make them,if u get the hint.
biochem-full of molecular biology also a few cell biology q's...this was the most uncertain part of my exam...where i had no idea...what i have done. :oops: ..some good genetics qs too.hardyweinberg q were not very hard.i didn't had any cycle q..and as such in my exam ...very few q..from metab.
behav science-i had max 3-4 q on doctor pt. relationship per block..even less.a few q's on epidemiology...i remember one q..on alpha and beta error too.
anatomy-most ..were from neuro...one pic to identify the origin of cranial n. described.some CTs of abdomen mainly...a few q's on nerve injury.
micro-the least asked subject....i don't remember any viral q..except one. mainy combined with path.
so that was all i remember ...but what i conclude is that...everyone's exam is different...i can only tell you some topics...but u can be asked anything..more importantly...grab the concepts and learn to apply them in clinical scenarios.
Also ...do a good practice of timed test..b'cos it's more important to be able to apply what u know ..in a timelimited test... really gives u a good practice over that.
I really thank our online study group people..who really made me feel like a part of family..though i was not able to participate much...i really learned a lot from them...and i know good people are good doctors..i wish all of them a very best in their future.
what can i say about my loving husband...who stood by me....at every moment...to support me.he just knew me perfect.i pray to God to give such a life partner to everybody.i don't know what will be my result....but ..i am happy that..we put our best to it.
Above all...i can never thank enough to GOD ...to give me such strength.
i think ...i just got overwhelmed...after remembring everything...and took a lot of time ..sorry guys.
