the closest i can come up with is Midas. In greek mythology, everything he touched turned to gold... the story reminds me of our campus....

Let's see, you'll find lizards and iguanas and the supposed monkey wondering around. Some people swear they have seen the monkey, and even fed it bananas, but others are still skeptical. :?

The monkey is real! NikkiandBo posted pics of it and she used to feed it in her backyard!

I think for the mascot, it would be a toss up between a monkey, lizard, or a crab. We know some who have seen a crab by the school and just last night there was a big crab walking across the road in front of our place. Considering the legend of the monkey, I think that would be the best choice :!:
