Low. Dispointed. But there is nothing I can do now.
It's 77.
My experience please see previous post of mine.
Briefly, Qbank 60% and also USMLE practice exam 61%
Only regret is that I didnt do enough Qs.
BL to all.

Congratulations on passing. There's no shame in your scores
Most of all, I am so glad that someone is honest enough to post their real scores. Many people on this board tend to report 238+/95+ scores!!!!!!!! Haha. I'm glad there is one honest person on here instead of a bunch of so-called geniuses.

Hi.
I usually post on the other forums on the site, but am turning my eyes here. Your post more than many others here compelled me to respond. The sadness and shame in your voice was too much. Don't you dare be ashamed or less than proud of your marks and definitely don't carry around an inferiority complex with you or the feeling that 'well I'll be a doctor but just barely.'
The reliance that Americans have on these standardized tests for deciding peoples future is scary. SAT, MCAT, LSAT, USMLE etc. etc. Some people just aren't good test-takers, some people learn to learn and don't learn 'towards' a test, some people have much less time to commit to preparing for the usmle, some people have less money to commit to preparing for the usmle - ie can't take all expensive prep courses, buy all expensive prep books, some people don't sleep well the night before and can't process the data well etc etc etc.
Your score is just fine and I don't believe it is a reflection of the quality of doctor you will make. Because you didn't know that particular 'fact' that happened to appear doesn't make your knowledge or your ability to practise medicine inferior.
Congratulations on passing a very difficult test. You will get into a residency program somewhere and into a speciality that you want. Perseverance is so important and, in my opinion, even more important than step 1 scores.
Perhaps you can 'beef up' your credentials by taking on a cool research project. Try to find someone who will committ to putting you on a paper (or 3) if you help out in the lab.
Good luck and do celebrate.

First, congrats on passing step I!
I did have a question though, you indicated you got 61% on the USMLE CD. Was that the sample 150 question item CD that ECFMG sent to you which you scored this? Or was it the Kaplan simulated Full length exam?
I was curious about this.
Thanks.
